Sunset
The sun is setting to the left of
Kapiti Island, pictured here as seen from the top of
Paekakariki Hill (on the west coast of the North
Island, north of Wellington) on 1st July 2006.
If you look very closely to the right of the left-most peak of the island, you can just see Mount Taranaki poking up from behind.
Note: I know that it looks somewhat surreal, but this photograph is just as my camera caught it – it is totally untouched. (1/500, F2.8)
