The sun is setting to the left of
Kapiti Island, pictured here as seen from the top of
Paekakariki Hill (on the west coast of the North
Island, north of Wellington) on 1st July 2006.
I have placed this photo as my "title" photograph for my photographic works, as it looks somewhat surreal. It looks so great, that it is totally untouched apart from resizing for the web – it is just as my camera caught it. (1/500, F2.8)
