Spaced Out 2
This
was my
second interpretation of the methodology taught to us
by Ed.. I started with a completely chaotic
confusion and profusion of bright colours and
patterns, then made a minimum of "adjustments to
develop some of the shapes that I saw into quirky
objects that might or might not be recognisable.
I did this one "just for fun". Of course, In
some respects, I think that was the essence of what
Ed was trying to teach me! As with "Spaced Out
1", this photo simply cannot show the way the water
colour paint glows on the paper! This one is
reminiscent of some fluorescent art that I saw once,
viewed under black light.
(Water colours on 300
gsm 100% cotton
paper, 400mm x 300mm.)
